Press Release
3,500 attend 21st annual Crawford Contractor Connection® Conference & Expo
The 2019 Crawford Contractor Connection Conference & Expo hosted approximately 3,500 attendees from across North America from June 10-12 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas. Contractor Connection network contractors, insurance carrier representatives and service provider partners gathered together for the 21st annual event, sharing key insights into industry trends, technology, performance and business strategy.
The theme of this year’s Conference, “RESTORE,” was derived from Crawford & Company’s mission statement to restore and enhance lives, businesses and communities. Contractor Connection network members have the opportunity every day to put that statement into action, restoring a sense of normalcy for property owners when they need it most.
Harsha V. Agadi, president and CEO of Crawford & Company, delivered the opening address. Executive management from Contractor Connection and several top insurance carriers provided the “Voice of the Customer,” sharing their individual insights on the impact of technology and customer expectations and how the Contractor Connection network can exceed ever-increasing expectations.
"Our conference is known for being the premier insurance restoration industry event each and every year, and the 2019 edition is evidence of that,” said Contractor Connection Global President, Larry Thomas. “It continues to grow at a tremendous pace thanks to the commitment and dedication our contractor network members and carrier clients have made to continually improve the level of service to their customers. We are excited for what the future holds for this event and our partners moving forward."
Contractor Connection recognized its highest-performing North American contractors by region, along with those network members who have supported the Hiring Our Veterans network initiative and those who joined Crawford in October 2018 for its annual Global Day of Service outreach initiative.
Conference attendees participated in a variety of engaging and educational breakout sessions, workshops and town halls throughout the week where they learned about and discussed topics ranging from growth strategies to maximizing opportunities and advancements in technology in the field. The conference was also host to one of the largest expos in the North American restoration industry, with more than 200 exhibitors offering the latest products and services to attendees.
