Sustainable soil management for a healthier planet. In today’s culture of environmental awareness and governance, the subject of soil arguably receives far less attention than air pollution, water quality or climate change. Yet understanding and protecting soil is not only vital to food production, but indeed plays a vital and pivotal role in reducing atmospheric carbon, flood protection, protecting and enhancing the natural environment, including increasing biodiversity and improving water quality within our waterways.
